Belton Acre is disabled friendly and was designed with wheel chair users in mind.

 

When you arrive at Belton Acre you can drive straight into the driveway and park up next to the front door where there is an accessible hard standing area for ease of using a wheelchair ramp direct from your car onto the hard standing. Getting inside is equally easy with low thresholds allowing smooth access into the house and throughout the ground floor onto the patio at the back of the house. Access to the garden is through any of the three bi fold doors that lead to different parts of the patio. There is also a ramp that leads down onto the lawned area.

 

There are two ground floor bedrooms, the large double has an ensuite disabled wet room allowing complete independence and privacy during your stay. The wet room is arranged with a low level basin, accessible toilet and shower with attached seat and handles. In the twin room, one of the beds has an electrical system which adjusts the foot and head of the bed to ease getting in and out and for making adjustments for sleeping, taking medication etc. if needed. The wardrobe has a lower level hanging rail easily reached from a wheelchair.
